For my fellow whisk members, the banana chip bar recipe:
3/4 c. margarine
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 medium bananas, mashed (it works well to keep old bananas and freeze them for this very purpose)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 6-oz. package of mini chocolate chips
Cream together margarine, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla--beat well. Stir in bananas. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat well until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread evenly in greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes. **Useful tip: these are way better overdone than underdone.**
I loved working with you girls this semester! Enjoy :)
