midweek miscellany

  • The aforementioned impending chest cold is now full-blown chest cold. I've been hacking up green gunk for the past two days.
  • Despite my increased need for decent sleep because of said chest cold, the past two nights I've been sleeping horribly. Last night my dreams were a combination of "Alias" and InDesign layouts.
  • I'm buying some Nyquil today.
  • I'm reading The Turn of the Screw by Henry James for my senior class, and I like it.
  • Despite what my nursing friends say about the pointlessness of Airborne, I'm using it and am convinced it works.

I'm sorry you've got a full-blown chest cold, that sucks. I hope you get some serious Nyquil-laced sleep tonight!

I always think Airborne works too!

Here's hoping for a speedy Nyquil/Airborne recovery!

I hope you feel better! Colds are no fun at all. Hopefully this weekend you can get some sleep.

Sorry about the cold. Glad you to hear you like The Turn of the Screw. I've only read one Henry James novel (The Portrait of a Lady) and it bored me to tears. Maybe it's time I tried him again.

I'm totally intolerant of head colds, chest colds,or any colds!

I'm sorry to hear you have one and can only pray that the nyquil kicks in fast. I try all and any cold treatments. Don't forget the zinc. That's one that really helps.

Feel better!

Yuck, yuck. My kids have all been sick and now they're on round 2.

I swear by zinc drops, too!

If said "Alias" dreams include Michael Vaughan, then I say you're living the life, my friend. Hope you feel better!
