a memorable tribute

Yes, Canada regrettably lost to the USA in Olympic hockey, and yes, I have mixed feelings about that, especially given my beloved Canadian heritage. However, as a consolation to my Canadian DNA and to my Canadian family members, please enjoy this musical tribute.

Do you really care that Canada lost in hockey to the U.S.? If so, why? You don't consider yourself Canadian do you? I'm intrigued.

Oh Dwight!

That is awesome, Charlotte...one more reason to love Dwight! I am glad that you feel some regret about Canada's loss. I was just disgusted in them. We were at the church for New Beginnings when they lost, and the sadness was palpable. Have a great week, EH?! Love you.

(I am looking for a picture I have of you as a toddler wearing your Calgary Flames hockey outfit...this will prove to Jill that you are indeed half Canadian!)

Hee. Sometimes I forget that you are half-Canadian! I feel badly for Canada's loss, that must have hurt.

We both know that Canada is pretty dang awesome. They don't need to beat the US in Olympic Hockey to prove this. In fact perhaps you can say they are so awesome that they graciously allowed the USA to win.
