I saw these soft pink buds on some trees downtown, and my heart felt lighter. I didn't realize how ready I was for spring until I saw the flowers in the rain.
Divine, indeed! One of the beauties of the season. Ours are just swelling and I saw mu first hint of forsythia today. I'm ready. The winter on the east coast has been brutal.

The house I lived in as a child had a tree out front that would sprout bright pink flowers every spring. Such good memories, and beautiful trees!
